Peru-Bolivia Border: First working meeting

The first working meeting for the Peru-Bolivia border was held on July 4-5 in Cobija.

Objectives of the first conference in the Amazon sector of the Peru-Bolivia border:

  • Present the methodology and schedule of the INNOVACTII project and exchange the results of the first phase of the project: mapping and prioritization of cross-border value chains.
  • Raise awareness, transfer knowledge, train participants based on European experience and experience in other Latin American borders on support for innovation and strategic planning for innovation, on ways of cooperation, including the presentation of successful examples.
  • Present the strategic analysis for innovation cooperation in priority value chains together with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with participants on the issue of support for innovation in the framework of a cross-border strategy and the governance of common actions and agree with the participants on the next steps.
