The first INNOVACT webinar aims to provide conceptual, methodological and practical elements for the analysis of value chains that enrich the formulation of the Action Plan for the development of native cocoa aroma and fish farming value chains in the Peru-Colombia Border Integration Zone. The webinar will be conducted by INNOVACT expert Saskia Bonnefoi.

When: April 4th, 9am – 12pm
Where: online / seminar room for participants based in Leticia, Puerto Leguízamo and Iquitos

The first part of the webinar will be a presentation of key concepts to strategically analyze value chains, such as competitiveness, innovation in value chains, business models, the five forces of Porter and the Porter diamond, among others. It will also include the presentation of examples of value chains in which these concepts have been applied. Next, there will be a practical group work exercise that will serve to make an initial analysis of the value chains selected for the Peru-Colombia border. Finally, the spokespersons of each group will be invited to present the results of the exercise to all the participants in the webinar, to which the INNOVACT team will give feedback and the discussion among participants will open.

For participants based in Leticia, Puerto Leguízamo and Iquitos or in its vicinity, a place to attend the seminar will be arranged.
