A first EU partner region has been selected to share their experiences on cross-border cooperation with INNOVACT border regions: Aragón – Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées, a border area between Spain and France. Cross-border cooperation has been the subject of community support since the 1990s and responds to shared objectives in neighboring regions that seek to solve common problems so that the borders between them not only stop being obstacles to mobility and collaboration, but also become places that allow sharing experiences and knowledge, and to establish actions that reinforce links and implement complementary activities in the most essential fields.
